The dishwasher's splice box will have a hole for the incoming cable be sure to install an NM clamp first and then take the cable through it. The clamp is to be tightened onto cable only to snug; never super tight. Within the splice box, connect the black wire of the cable to the black wire of the dishwasher. Do the same with the white wires. Connect the cable ground wire to the frame or to the green dishwasher wire.
